David Hanna (August 31, 1941 – January 13, 1981) was an American realist painter and sculptor, best known for his paintings of landscapes, people and historic sites. Virtually self-taught, he was one of the most gifted fourth generation artists in the Brandywine tradition. He worked extensively in the media of watercolor, drybrush and egg tempera, and later in clay sculpture.
